Oh my God, this has just become one of my top favorite Merthur stories OF ALL TIME. Their friendship and flirtation as teenagers was told SO BRILLIANTLY. It was adorable and precious and charming and DELIGHTFUL.

And both of their transformed adult selves and their transformed adult relationship with its ups and downs and MARRIAGE and Italian rompings and just... *sigh*

This was really brilliantly written and I can't wait to find out who you are so I can go read everything you've ever written.

Also, this is best reason ever to love a person: Because you push the bloody cork inside the bottle when you’re trying to open it.
