Loved the way you captured the emotions throughout.. Arthur's numbness and Morgana's open sadness, both are equally plausible.. Also the way they drive each other up the wall just as siblings do.. Dealing with the past, the uncertainty of the future, the support of friends even if you don't know how to say anything and are basically just stumbling through life.. You portrayed all that beautifully.. And, of course, Arthur's own struggle with what he feels for Merlin coupled with his own reaction to any remotely gay situation in the past as well as the present, the way he tries to simply shut it off but can't are all brilliant and make the story that much more believable and real (even if it makes me want to smack Arthur at one point because I just don't like seeing Merlin hurt!)... And all the way this is offset in a lovely way by Merlin's own gentleness and patience.. Even the more snarky, fun aspects of all characters are wonderfully balanced and add to the package.. All in all it feels like a wonderful slice-of-life and so very human indeed... Thank you for the wonderful read! :)
