Like many others in this fandom, modern royal AUs are a huge favourite of mine!
Edward and Nate were so adorable and... While there was so much heart ache and longing (oh my, the longing...), the ending made up for all of it. We even got a 'glimpse' of a softer side of the 'ruthless' King Uther. I'm feeling really happy and fuzzy inside that everything turned out alright. More than alright.
