Oh MAN I'm so relieved you liked it. I HAD SO MANY IDEAS THAT I WANTED TO PUT IN IT, but didn't have enough time as wasn't sure whether everything would actually come across as I wanted it to and--! I AM JUST HAPPY IT DIDN'T PUT YOU OFF. Especially the layout! I know a lot of people are icky about tricky layouts, which I absolutely understand (if I just stumbled on this fic out of nowhere, believe me I'd be like, WHAT UGH THIS IS WEIRD, and then X out within no-time), but right from the beginning I knew I had to have it this way. The reason was probably completely lost in the whole brouhaha of the fic, but it was, in a way, supposed to be a certain take on Beowulf's tale. MY FAVOURITE LOLASTIC OLDE ENGLISH TALE! With the strange monster attacking an important building (HEORT! Which means heart! COEUR! The hotel :D), and a worrier being called over to sleep in the hall for the night as to catch the beast and slay it--with the underground waters, AND STUFF! AND THE DRAGON! HAHAHA OKAY, okay, geeking out in overload here, but yes. Beowulf was written in the old two paragraph per page way and I thought it would be funny to mimic that in a 'it's a book!' idea but then on an internet page. THIS EXPLANATION GOT A BIT MESSY AROUND THE MIDDLE, I'M SORRY. TL;DR, I like that you like the format, it was a geeky reference to a lame medieval story about dudes fighting monsters in the nude :D
Also YAY for young Arthur! He's my favourite to write. Such an adorable little douche.
