Detailed prompt: Arthur and Merlin are sports rivals competing for the same prize. And then they go and do the stupidest thing possible: fall in love. I'd be wild for Formula 1 and Tennis. (But really anything in which M and A have to build something from the ground up -- a common project, say – would be fab.) As an alternative famous pianist Merlin and regular concert goer Arthur meet and fall in love. I'm easlily pleased though.
Squicks: M-preg, non-con, unhappy endings, main character death, food porn, not a huge fan of cross-dressing or kid-fic, D/s, not a huge fun of bondage unless it's light, BDSM, torture (torture of the kind you get on the show is fine just not the realistic type), or sex between characters under 16, unless it's a question of months. No weak for no reason Merlin or plots based on the theme of catasptrophically unrequited love.
