I kept trying to sign up om Saturday and it told me the sign ups were closed. Same when I tried again on Sunday (though sign-ups could have actually been closed by then).

Is there anyway to check to see if my sign-up worked?

I'm sorry, but your sign up is not registered. I don't know exactly when you tried to sign up on Saturday. It was open all day Saturday UTC (so European time more or less), but if you're in the US/Canada/South America it closed sometime in the afternoon/evening.

You are very welcome to sign up for pinch hits when pinch hitter sign ups go up.
