Author's Notes:
Prompt: Morgana has a sword to Arthur's chest, and this time there's nothing to stop her. Merlin doesn't get there in time, her sword just is steady against Arthur's chest. She can't bring herself to push it through.

Author's Notes: This was definitely one of the most challenging things I've written in a while but it was such a fun idea. I tried to make it feel like an episode of Merlin where Arthur and Gwen know about Merlin and Morgana's magic and the four of them deal with these types of adventures all the time.
