Summary: Merlin must dress up as a girl to cover the biggest underdog story of the 2014 Olympics. Love happens. I swear on the souls of my ancestors that I wrote this before the Dolma episode. I’m pretty sure this makes me psychic.
Author's Notes: Fleete, I begged to write this for you and I want you to know that writing this has brought me much joy at a time when I wondered if I'd ever bother to write anything again at all. Of course, it’s also proved to me that I’m a hopeless one trick pony. What was my point? Oh! I hope you like it, and that you can suspend disbelief, which (let's face it) is a necessity for watching any production of Twelfth Night, right? Because there is no way this shit is ever going to happen in real life. Though, the Olsen twins insist they’re fraternal, did you know? I cannot even fathom that. I chose India because it was a nation which could plausibly use English as a common language in a casual setting, while being completely unexpected in the context. Yes, I've made several characters Indian. India rocks! Suspend your disbelief and when you feel doubt close your eyes and think of Ben Kingsley. Which is good advice in general, I think. Also, thanks to my amazing, beautiful, clever beta, [livejournal.com profile] shes_gone. She actually owns all the Mighty Ducks movies. That kind of serendipity doesn’t just happen. That’s fate.
