Artist’s Note: Dear Plutonia, you gave me such wonderful prompts it was hard to choose, but this one really appealed: Prompt 4, Modern, Superhero AU where Merlin and Arthur are partners with superpowers, working together to protect their city. This was loosely inspired by Miraculous ladybug, although, no knowledge of the programme is necessary. The Merlin universe fits very well into this AU even if I did go off on a bit of a tangent.

I had so much fun with this, I really hope you enjoy what I have produced. I only intended to do art but some words crept in there too.

Summary:
Merlin seems to be a normal teenage boy — he wants to become a doctor, he’s a bit awkward and clumsy and he has a crush on a classmate. Merlin has a secret other teenagers don't have — he lives a double life as a crime-fighting superhero known as Crimson Dragon. He uses his superpowers to help protect his adoptive city of Camelot from the supervillain Hawk. He is assisted, reluctantly, by fellow hero Golden Puma, even though he insists he doesn't need him — a stance he might not take if he knew Golden Puma’s alter ego is his crush, Arthur. Together, Crimson Dragon and Golden Puma help protect Camelot from Hawk and other villains.

Quick Note on Posting Dates

Hello, festive friends!

Posting is well under way and we're enjoying all the great works being gifted!

We've gotten a lot of questions about when folks will get their posting date emails, so we wanted to let you all know not to worry if you haven't gotten your posting date yet. Scheduling for this fest involves a number of factors. For example, we try to schedule all the Christmas/Solstice/Yule fics before the holiday. We try to balance the short and long fics. Stuff like that.

This year we're being a little slower than usual about scheduling because we have had a lot (A LOT) of extension requests. Which we're always happy to give! But we've decided to only schedule and send out posting dates a few days at a time so that we can fit each submission into the best possible place on the schedule as we receive them.

Author's Notes: So I completely 100% LOVE this couple and was ecstatic to write them for you. This idea sort of sprung to mind the moment I saw your prompt so I went with it. I hope you enjoy what is a little snippet of the happy ending they deserved to get. Happy Holidays.
