But I've been thinking about it and dying to reply ever since I saw this come up. First of all--I am crazy flattered that you liked my fic enough to inspire you to draw this. I love, LOVE it when people are inspired to make a written piece into something visual, and it's fascinating to see what they make of it, how they interpret it, BASICALLY HOW IT LOOKED LIKE IN SOMEONE ELSE'S MIND--and this. THIS! THIS IS SIMPLY AMAZING. It's adorable and touching and the details just killed me. Mount Richardson shirt. I can't believe you actually added that. I WANT TO SQUISH YOUR FACE, THAT IS SO WONDERFUL! I'll make a confession. I get crazy about details in stories. LIKE--not angry crazy, just excited crazy, like I come up with an idea like 'HE SHALL BE IN A BAND!' and then I spend several hours coming up with names and reasons and band members and history and fake interviews. AND THE MERLIN AT THE WINDOW AND ARTHUR BELOW! SMILING UP! BUT THEN IN WINTER SETTING! HKSJHDFDKFJH! When I finished writing it, I had a random thought that wouldn't let me go for about three consecutive days of showers, that they end up one of those couples who mock-seriously send people pictures of themselves as Christmas cards? Like, OH HA HA THIS IS A JOKE AND WE'RE ACTUALLY MAKING FUN OF PEOPLE WHO REALLY DO THIS, but in reality they kind of mean it. And Merlin with his little santa hat is just perfect and gosh, I LOVE THIS SO MUCH AND I AM SO HAPPY IT IS HERE ♥
