The thing about that is that it still puts the onus of finding anon hosting for the artwork on the artist, whereas previously it would have been handled by the fest mods, and she'll still have to repost it to her own site later, unlike with fic, so AO3 doesn't actually make things any more convenient for artists, in fact the converse. Any way to make it a compromise and allow artists who don't want to do AO3 to do it the old way?
