Arthur wishes he'd take a bit more care, but then he wouldn't quite be the Merlin he secretly fucking adores. And with Christmas just around the corner Merlin's on a mission to make sure the merry bunch of orphans that make up their friend group gets the best holiday they can. But when Merlin tries breaking up a fight/mugging/argument, he gets shoved and hurt enough to put a stop to his Christmas extravaganza and it's Arthur's turn to show Merlin how much he loves him.

Things you do not want in your gift: Porn for porn's sake! I'm all up for a good sex scene, but I'm not a fan of shoving a hardcore sex scene on the end of a story that never had the right place for it. Plus, no bad!guy Gwaine, I hate it when he gets turned into the villian. Also not a fan of rimming, watersports... Actually, if there's sex, just make it as vanilla and stupidly lovely as possible.
