Love this to bits! The coat's Merlin wearing with the tree roots on the back is superb. Love how it hints at Merlin's imprisonment. And the way Morgana's hair curls and twists in the same way as the roots, but in a polarly opposite direction is just as suggestive and brilliant and it makes for great visuals. Lovely, lovely piece of art :)))))))))

Wow! The detail on this is astonishing! The embroidery on Merlin's coat and the lace details on Morgana's dress (serpents and that scalloping around the edges!) are both breathtaking but I also really love the expression on her face and the way her hair almost looks like it's caught in a magical wind. Merlin's hand wrapped around her foot is a wonderful little touch that adds so much to the emotional impact of this piece. Gorgeous!!

Clever girl...can't say I blame her for this, I'd be sorely tempted too!
