Date: 2012-01-02 12:05 am (UTC)Okay. A few things, I've just come home to my dorm after 15 days of travel around the UK and I'm all wrapped up in my bed AND I SEE THIS ON MY FLIST. I did a double-take. I can't BELIEVE someone drew this for me because obviously I didn't expect a gift as I did do a pinch-hit. SO CLEARLY, YOU AND THE MODS ARE REALLY GLORIOUS PEOPLE. I just--I'm feeling a bit verklempt.
Anyway. Your art.
I'm in awe.
The lighting is out of this world. THE SHADING. THE SHADING. God. I mean, I'm an idiot when it comes to technical comments on art because I love it all but this is just so amazingly talented! ♥ There are a few things that have blown my mind.
1. Merlin's face. His lips and the way that he's so LOST in pleasure. Honestly, the look on his face is so personal and intimate that it's almost uncomfortable. Do you know what I mean? It's beautiful. And it leads to his pale, exposed throat and then BAM those shining/exposed/chewable collarbones and his bunchable shoulders. LOOK AT HIS MUSCLES UP THERE FROM BEING THE BEST MAGICAL PERSON EVAR. Nbd. Nbd.
2. HIS EARSSSSSS. I know. I know. But I think they're perfect and I want to make out with you for drawing such a perfect little ear for me.
3. THE RING ON HIS HAND. See. You may not know me/or this is a regift or whatever, but I HAVE SUCH A KINK FOR FINGERS. And Merlin's hand is just--beyond my wildest wishlist. Seriously. I SEE THE RING and the way he can't resist touching Arthur's fingers too and YOU. YOU. ALL THE THINGS.
4. Can we talk about how perky his little nipples are? I don't know how talented you have to be to make Merlin's nipples SO FUCKING PERKY when everything is so soft and lovely and still make it fit but IT'S PROBABLY INSANELY TALENTED. ♥ I'm in awe of his nipples. I just. You need to take a moment to look at those nipples and then pat yourself on the back.
5. I'm weird but Arthur's folded knee/leg combination is just... breaktaking. I don't know why (other than the obvious that you drew it and it's beautiful) but there is SOMETHING about it that is so raw and real and muscular. HE LOOKS LIKE YOU COULD FELL HIM LIKE A TREE AND THEN CLIMB HIM AS SUCH. But it's a really amazing detail and I love how you drew it.
It's so precious and fragile and GOD. This is the most amazing thing. ♥ Thank you. ThankyouThankyouThankyou. You're amazing and talented and I feel like I could never gush enough to do this justice. Thank you for drawing this and giving it to me. Mods, you all are unbelievably kind to me. I'm the luckiest girl ever, to be home in my bed and seeing this on my flist and just--THANK YOU.
