I really love Arthur putting away his sword, it's like a sign of acceptance that he really can't do anything about this, it's nothing that can be fought. Very poignant.
I love the final panel so much. It's got a really strong feeling of being small in the face of the implacable universe. The dawn is beautiful and terrible. :*(

Oh, this is brilliant and I love it so much! How you made it so optimistic despite the setting and everything, including so many prompts in one work, and the story behind it and the little details! The last panel is just amazing and so beautifully done and I love how they are just sitting there, waiting calmly for everything to end. And I can't stop smiling that Merlin managed to find a hot cup of tea for them both in a place like this. And the lighting is just right at first for it to look like dawn, and the quote you used fits perfectly!
