Artist's Notes: Happy holidays! I had a lot of fun (and hand cramps!) doing this piece. I was inspired by your prompt that talked of Arthur making Merlin train physically after learning of his magic--and then helping Merlin with his soreness after. I'm pretty sure you didn't mean this kind of "help," but I'm keeping the artwork PG like you asked. ;) Thanks for the prompt and thank you to the mods for hosting this lovely fest! ♥♥

I LOVE your use of colour in this! The little bruises on Merlin are delicious (am I sick for liking a bruised up Merlin?) You did such a lovely job on Arthur's pose-I imagine that's not an easy one to get right (but I'm not much of an artist so I'm only guessing!). Love the cut of Merlin's hip just peeking above the waistband of his trousers and his FACE!! Gah!! Gorgeous job on his face!

:D Thanks! It was actually a lot of fun adding the bruises on. I get to add a little bit of extra color there. Arthur's pose was a little weird to do because it's at a slight angle, but I think it worked. (I totally have a thing for hipbones, too)

Aw, thank you! Yes, poor Merlin--but right now I think I'd say lucky Merlin. ;D I'm actually glad Arthur's flushed cheeks came through, because everything is colored warmly so I was a little worried it wouldn't be noticeable.
