Would you prefer to request only Merlin/Arthur? YES, along with Morgana, Gwen, Uther, Leon, Lancelot (other pairings are fine though, so long as Merlin/Arthur is main/endgame)

Requested pairings option:

Kinks/Tropes you'd like to see in your gift: jealous!Arthur and hipster!Merlin actually sounds awesome :) Otherwise: pining, jealousy, possessiveness, people being oblivious to their feelings, cannot-spit-it-out love confessions, badass!Merlin, badass!Arthur, magic, powerplay, non-kinky sex, first time

Prompts: I love modern AUs with magic (particularly the type where magic is banned and they have an underground resistance group); and it would be awesome if the plot included one of the boys messing something up and then trying to put it right, for example Arthur, accidentally or intentionally, outs Merlin as a magic user. Merlin gets imprisoned or even sentenced to death but Arthur comes around and decides to save him.
Or, Arthur is Merlin's boss (or Arthur is the Prince of Wales, Merlin is his assistant, whatever) and they start falling for each other. Everything is jolly and gay until Arthur freaks out and fires Merlin before anybody finds out; Merlin calls him out on being a selfish dick.
Anything about resolving trust issues, like:
Merlin angers some powerful witch/warlock and tries to get himself out of trouble while keeping Arthur in the dark; Arthur comes to teach Merlin the value of trusting people and relying on others.
Or even: Merlin and Uther keep secrets from Arthur in order to protect him (maybe about the dangerous warlocks seeking revenge). Arthur finally finds out and is not very pleased.
One other thing: if it's modern AU, please keep it in the UK.


Squicks (Indicate here if you do not want spoilers for S5 in your gift.): I'm okay with angst / character death / rape as plot divice / what-have-you, but like I said, I'd rather keep the porn pretty vanilla. No child abuse/underage sex, mpreg or alpha/omega verse, please.

Is it possible for you to revise your tropes/prompt list with some less fic-y, plotty things?

And sure it is! It would be cool if it focused on Merlin&Arthur and stayed relatively SFW (violence and partial nudity is okay, so is kissing, just no graphic sex). Here are some prompts/ideas:

- back-to-back badasses
- Merlin using magic (preferably fire magic)
- little displays of affection (maybe the two of them holding hands in the middle of a fight?)
- dawn
- if it's canon era: Merlin wearing new clothes (or going shirtless)
- (shirtless Arthur is okay, too)
- Arthur fighting with a sword, regardless if it's canon/modern
- the two of them enjoying a moment of peace and quiet in a world that is anything but that (maybe a zombie apocalypse? meteor strike? the ruins of our civilization overgrown with plants and dominated by dinosaurs?)
- going to their death and not minding because they are together

And maybe something fluffy for a change:

- meeting for the first time
- sharing a blanket at the lakeside when the dawn breaks

These are all just suggestions, feel free to use them however you will :)
